Malissa Perkins | Associate
Malissa joined Hamilton Shores in January 2020 after over thirteen years in the industry as a landman and title attorney. Ms. Perkins focuses on oil, gas, and energy law, including the preparation of drilling and division order opinions. In addition to preparing title opinions, Ms. Perkins prepares agreements, assignments, leases, amendments, and deeds.
Prior to rendering opinions, Malissa gained valuable experience working as an independent petroleum landman for a large exploration and production company focusing on complex leasehold curative issues and due diligence ahead of acquisitions and divestitures. Her field experience has given her the ability to adapt efficiently to unique title issues.
