Rhodes W. Hamilton and Clifton A. Squibb, the founding partners of Hamilton & Squibb, LLP, published an article they co-authored in the February edition of “Headnotes”, the monthly newsletter produced by the Dallas Bar Association, titled “Your Client Didn’t Sign a Lease—What Now?”
The article discussed issues that might arise for clients who chose to not execute an oil and gas lease, including an operator’s usage of Rule 37 exceptions and the Mineral Interest Pooling Act.
